AEW's Ricky Starks Files To Trademark 'Absolute'

Stamford, November 30 - Ricky Starks has locked in a new trademark.

On November 29, an application for a trademark under the name "Absolute" was submitted by Ricky Starks for the purpose of entertainment.

Mark For: ABSOLUTE trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.

In June 2020, Starks signed with AEW. He made his debut on the June 17 episode of Dynamite, losing to Cody Rhodes in a match for the AEW TNT Championship.



Starks quickly established himself as a heel, and he aligned himself with Taz, Brian Cage, and Powerhouse Hobbs. He feuded with Darby Allin, Jon Moxley, and Sting.

In 2021, Starks began to transition into a face character. He won the FTW Championship in January 2022, and he also won the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale. In 2023, Starks won the Men's Owen Hart Cup. He is also the current holder of the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Big Bill.
