All-Time Blockbuster 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' Final Worldwide Box Office Collection

Mumbai, July 17 - Bollywood comedy-drama film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is considered one of the landmark films in the career of superstar Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan. Many believe that Salman Khan, the actor, peaked in the movie to deliver the performance of a lifetime.

Salman Khan, who was the reigning box office god at that time, scored one of the biggest Indian blockbusters in the form of Bajrangi Bhaijaan with a special performance in China where it grossed around 300 crores in box office collection as one of the highest-grossing Indian film there.



Bajrangi Bhaijaan had a pre-eid release (17 July 2015) but still it opened to a packed house across the nation. It took the opening of 27+ crores net, one of the biggest at that time, and with glowing reviews and word of mouth, the movie went on to score 184+ crores net in the first week.

It had the second-biggest first-week total for an Indian title at that time, behind Dhoom 3 (189 crores net). The movie didn't stop there and scored another massive second week with around 88 crores, and by the end of its run, it was the second Bollywood movie after PK (340+ crores net) to enter the 300 crores net club.

At the overseas box office, Bajrangi Bhaijaan had a sensational as it grossed approximately 490 crores, including around 300 crores in China. It was the highest-grossing Indian film at the worldwide box office at that time with over 900 crores gross collection.
