'Animal' Beats 'Kabir Singh' To Become Highest Grossing A-Rated Indian Film
Mumbai, December 7 - Ranbir Kapoor's mega-blockbuster Animal has become the highest-grossing A-rated Indian film at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office by crossing Shahid Kapoor's "Kabir Singh". Both the movies have been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
"Animal" became the biggest A-rated worldwide grosser in 4 days by crossing "Kabir Singh's" 377 crores worldwide while in India, it took just 5 days to beat the collection of 330 crores gross of the Shahid-starrer. In terms of net collection, Kabir Singh scored approx. 278.80 crores.
The Ranbir Kapoor-led action drama has so far scored approx. 313.50 crores net in 6 days and is looking to finish the first week in the range of 335 crores net. Worldwide, it has crossed the 500 crore gross (527 crores approx.) mark and is moving towards the magical 1000 crore gross mark.
The film has proved to be an unstoppable force at the box office despite the criticism and is expected to remain rock solid in the coming days.
