Blockbuster 'Hanuman' Crosses 200 Crore India Net Collection
Hyderabad, February 26 - Director Prashanth Varma's blockbuster Hanuman has crossed 200 crores net collection at the domestic box office, becoming the first Telugu and second Indian film of 2024 to achieve the feat.
Starring Teja Sajja, the superhero movie hit the milestone of 200 crores net in its 7th weekend and currently stands at around 200.30 crores net in all languages. The Telugu version of the film is leading by a huge margin over other languages with around 144 crores, followed by the Hindi version with 52 crores net.
The Hindi version of the movie has yielded a big surprise at the box office as it is only the 11th South Indian film to mint 50 crores net or more in this particular language. The other languages, including Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil, have made around 4 crores net.
Hanuman will almost finish nearly 300 crores gross at the worldwide box office. The movie has scored an estimated 293.30 crores gross, including 236.50 crores domestically and 56.80 crores at the overseas box office in 45 days.
As reported earlier, Hanuman is the highest-grossing Telugu movie of all time released in January, beating Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which grossed approximately 269 crores in 2020. It will go down as one of the biggest South Indian blockbusters ever.
