Blockbuster Pathaan Roars Past 300 Crores Gross Worldwide In Three Days
Mumbai, January 28 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is having a blockbuster party at the box office as his spy action thriller "Pathaan" running riot across all centers globally.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" has had historic first two days with a worldwide gross collection of approx 220 crores. All the predictions and estimates are falling short against the Pathaan mania and it has now crossed 300 crores gross worldwide in flat three days.
"Pathaan" had another huge third day domestically with a gross collection of approx. 45+ crores. Overseas, it had the biggest day so far with an estimated collection of around 45 crores, making it 90+ crores Friday. The worldwide collection after three days is approx. 310 crores (official numbers may vary).
The Yash Raj Films production has had the biggest-ever opening weekend for a Hindi film, both at the domestic as well as the overseas box office. It has beaten "KGF: Chapter 2" which scored approx. 170 crores opening weekend in Hindi. Worldwide, Salman Khan's "Sultan" was the previous record holder in Hindi with approx. 210 crores gross.
Also starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, "Pathaan" will be looking at 500 crores worldwide gross in the extended 5-day opening weekend, with the best two days of the weekend, Saturday and Sunday in the bank.
