Box Office: Article 370 Hits 100 Crore Worldwide Gross
Mumbai, March 21 - Yami Gautam-fronted political thriller Article 370 is the latest entry in the 100 crores worldwide gross club, emerging as a box office superhit.
The Aditya Suhas Jambhale's directorial flick will be hitting the 100 crores mark by the end of the day (28th day). It has so far grossed an estimated 99.50 crores, including 87 crores in India and 12.50 crores overseas in 27 days.
Article 370 is the 4th Bollywood movie of 2024, after Fighter, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Shaitaan to cross the milestone of 100 crores worldwide gross. Overall, it is the 8th Indian movie of the year to achieve the feat.
Produced by B62 Studios and Jio Studios, Article 370 is Yami Gautam's 5th 100 crores worldwide grosser and it will finish with the same rank, for now, after Bala (162 crores), Kaabil (178 crores), OMG 2 (222 crores), and URI The Surgical Strike (342 crores).
The film is set against the backdrop of the revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, and the autonomy granted under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution to Jammu and Kashmir—a region administered by India. It also stars Priyamani, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Kaul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar in key roles.
