Box Office: Blockbuster 'Hanuman' Hits 50 Crore Net In Hindi
Mumbai, February 11 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has unlocked a box office achievement as it has crossed 50 crores net in the dubbed Hindi version while worldwide, it is heading towards 300 crores gross mark.
Starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, Hanuman had a limited release to begin with as it started with approximately 2.10 crores net in Hindi. However, with super positive word of mouth, the movie started gaining momentum and now on its 30th day, it has topped 50 crores net mark.
Hanuman is the 11th South Indian and 7th Telugu film to hit 50 crores net collection in Hindi. The total net collection of the film currently stands at approximately 194.50 crores, including a little over 50 crores in Hindi alone.
The film is also heading towards hitting 300 crores gross at the worldwide box office, however, it may fall short of the target. It has so far grossed approximately 285.25 crores in 30 days and is likely to score another 5-7 crores gross to finish over 290 crores mark.
Hanuman, as reported earlier, is the highest-grossing Telugu movie ever to release in the month of January, beating superstar Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (269 crores). For 2024, it is currently the second biggest Indian grosser after Hrithik Roshan's Fighter which has so far grossed around 325 crores in 17 days.
