Box Office: 'Devara: Part 1' First Wednesday (Day 6) Early Estimates

Hyderabad, October 2 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 hits the ball out of the park on its 6th day, thanks to the national holiday in the form of Gandhi Jayanti. The movie is witnessing over 40% jump which is huge for a Telugu title with mixed reviews.

After the superb first weekend, followed by the decent to good hold during the first two working days, Devara gets the maximum use of the national holiday as early estimates suggest 12-13+ crores gross collection in Telugu states on its first Wednesday (6th day).



Apart from the Telugu states, the movie has a good jump on other Southern states as Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala are expected to score 4+ crores combined gross collection, per estimates. The North belt, meanwhile, is also showing big gains as estimates suggest 7.50-8.50 crores gross in the region on its 6th day.

The dubbed Hindi version of Devara is witnessing a jump of around 50% for an estimated 6-6.50 crores net collection, taking its total Hindi collection to over 41 crores net. Overall, Devara is estimated to gross 24-25 crores (~20.50 crores net) collection on its first Wednesday/6th day, which may vary a little bit depending on mass centres.

The total domestic collection of the film is around 245 crores gross (207+ crores net) after 6 days, per estimates. The full first week is headed to finish around 255 crores gross which is an excellent collection. Devara is expected to perform well in the second weekend due to the lack of major competition.
