Box Office: 'Devara - Part 1' Second Sunday (Day 10) Early Estimates
Hyderabad, October 6 - Superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has a fantastic second Sunday at the domestic box office as it crossed the double-digit collection with a good jump of around 30% from Saturday, completing a decent second weekend.
As per the early estimates, Devara is expected to gross 8-9 crores collection in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) with a jump of over 30%. In Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, the movie is estimated to gross in the range of 2 crore with the majority of collections coming from Karnataka with good hold.
Apart from the South Indian states, the Hindi belt continues to bring good collections for Devara. On its second Sunday, the gross collection of the movie is expected to be 4.25+ crores in the North India region while the Hindi-language collection is estimated to be 3.75-4 crores net.
Overall, Devara is expected to gross in the range of 14-15 crores (12-13 crore net) on its second Sunday (10th day), per estimates. This takes its total domestic collection to 287+ crores (243 crores net) in 10 days. The Hindi net collection has also crossed the 50 crores mark at around 52.75 crores so far.
Devara has a decent second weekend of around 32 crores gross in India as it continues to sail through despite the mixed reception. It is expected to do well going forward as the holiday season approaches. Depending on the hold in the coming day, it is likely to be aiming to finish around 350 crores gross domestically.
