Box Office: Drishyam 2 First Thursday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 24 - Drishyam 2 is heading toward another outstanding day at the box office as the film has seen a drop of under 10% which is an extraordinary trend for a film like Drishyam2. Mumbai and Gujarat circuits continue to drive the film while northern markets which did not start on big levels are also doing fine business now which is rare for a multiplex film like Drishyam 2. This could be due to the main reasons recall factor of the film and the popularity of Ajay Devgn in the northern belts.

"Drishyam 2" scores an estimated 8.70 crores net on its first Tuesday. The first Thursday collections will take the entire box office collections of the film to over 104 crores net mark depending on the actual first Thursday collections. The film has cruised past the 100cr mark in the first week which is a huge achievement for a medium-budget flick like Drishyam2 and that too after post-pandemic when many big films did not even cross 100cr in a lifetime run.



The film is already a huge winner but it is set to go to another level in the second week. Normally a well-accepted film does not drop more than 50% in the second week and if Drishyam2 sees a similar sort of drop in the second week then there is a chance of a blockbuster film. There is a big competition this week in the form of Bhediya starring Varun Dhawan but due to being an established film with excellent reports public might prefer Drishyam2 over Bhediya and it won't be surprising if Drishyam2 scores higher weekend number than Bhediya.
