Box Office: 'Fast X' Hits 100 Crores Net In India
Mumbai, May 31 - Universal Pictures' action thriller film Fast X has turned into a big success at the Indian box office. The Vin Deisel-fronted movie is performing well during the second week and has crossed the 100 crores net box office mark in all versions.
The 10th main installment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise scored around 100.15 crores net collection in 14 days after scoring 2.05 crores on its second Wednesday. It has become the first Hollywood movie to enter the 100 crores net club in India.
The last Hollywood movie to enter the Century box office club in India was James Cameron's all-time blockbuster "Avatar: The Way of Water" which went on to score over 390 crores in all languages. Overall, "Fast X" is the 11th Hollywood movie of all time and 5th post the covid-19 pandemic to breach the 100 crores mark in India.
Language-wise, the Hindi version is leading the overall collection of "Fast X" with 47.60 crores, followed by the original English version with 45.61 crores while other versions have scored around 5 crores net through 2nd Tuesday.
At the worldwide box office, "Fast X" has topped $500 million. It has earned over $520 million so far, including $113.40 million domestically (North America) and over $406.7 million at the international box office.
