Box Office: 'Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil' Becomes 10th Highest-Grossing Malayalam Film Worldwide

Kochi, June 5 - Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph's comedy-drama Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil becomes the 10th highest-grossing Malayalam film of all-time at the worldwide box office.

Directed by Vipin Das, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil has grossed approximately 85 crores in 21 days. In India, the movie has minted approximately 51.75 crores while the overseas collection is an estimated 33.25 crores so far, to become the 10th biggest Malayalam grosser ever.



The movie has crossed RDX (82.75 crores) and will next beat Neru (85.60 crores) in the next couple of days and will be looking to top Bheeshma Parvam (88.20 crores) in the coming days to become the 8th biggest Mollywood title at the worldwide box office.

In 2024, Malayalam cinema has been on the rise and Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil is one of the reasons for it. It is Mollywood's 5th biggest grosser of the year, behind Manjummel Boys, Aadujeevitham, Aavesham, and Premalu. Prithviraj Sukumaran has two films in this year's top 5, including Aadujeevitham while first for Basil Joseph.
