Box Office: 'Jaat' Third Day/First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, April 12 - The Sunny Deol-led action drama Jaat witnessed a good jump of around 40% on its first Saturday after a decent hold on Friday to stand a good chance of scoring in the double-digit numbers for the first time.

According to early estimates, Jaat has scored in the range of 9.50-10.50 crores net collection, which pushed its total collection to 26+ crores net in 3 days. The 4-day extended opening weekend is expected to be around 37-40 crores, which is a decent to good total.



The film continued to remain strong in the mass pockets, while multiplexes also witnessed a marginal growth. These things will help the movie on Sunday as well, but the real test will begin on Monday, which will determine the film's longevity at the box office.

Jaat has a positive reception, especially among the masses, and that should help it to maintain a steady hold during the weekdays, which is a must for its chances to emerge as a success and potentially hit the 100 crores net mark.
