Box Office: 'Kalki 2898 AD' Surpasses 850 Crore Worldwide Gross In 13 Days

Hyderabad, July 10 - Kalki 2898 AD is holding decently in the second week and is marching towards 900 crores club after surpassing 850 crores gross collection in just 13 days at the worldwide box office, by far the biggest Indian grosser of the year.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic remained at over 10 crores mark for 13 consecutive days now, taking its total collection to an estimated 630 crores gross collection at the domestic box office. Overseas, the Prabhas-starrer has minted an estimated 230 crores, for 860 crores worldwide cume in 13 days.



Kalki 2898 AD is expected to top 900 crores worldwide gross total by the third Saturday, in 17 days. It has already become the 10th highest-grossing Indian film globally and will also become the 10th Indian title to top 900 crores worldwide gross. The movie will be aiming to finish its run around or over 1000 crores gross.

Kalki 2898 AD is the first instalment in a planned Kalki Cinematic Universe. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD, the film follows a select group on a mission to save Kalki, the unborn child of SUM-80, a lab subject. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.
