Box Office: 'Mission Impossible 7' First Tuesday Early Estimates
Mumbai, July 18 - Tom Cruise's latest blockbuster Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One has a decent first Tuesday at the Indian box office with the collection dropping around 10-15% from Monday which is a good hold.
The 7th installment in the Mission Impossible franchise scored an estimated 4.25-4.50 crores net today/first Tuesday which takes the total collection to around 73 crores net in the first 7 days. The extended 9-day first week is looking in the range of 80 crores net.
MI7 is set to emerge as the 4th Hollywood hit in India this year after Fast X, John Wick 4, and Evil Dead Rise and is likely to top 100 crores net to become the second Hollywood film to do so this year after Fast X.
The Tom Cruise-starrer movie will see competition this weekend from its fellow Hollywood movies, Oppenheimer and Barbie. The Christopher Nolan's directorial Oppenheimer will make a bigger impact on MI7. The premium screens, where MI7 is performing well, will get divided once Nolan's movie, which is having better advances in multiplexes, releases.
