Box Office: 'Mission Impossible 7' Fourth Day/First Saturday Early Estimates
Mumbai, July 15 - Tom Cruise is putting on a show at the Indian box office with his latest blockbuster "Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning - Part One" as the movie is getting the benefit of the highly positive audience word of mouth.
The 7th installment in the Mission Impossible franchise scored approx. 30.20 crores net in the first three days, including approx. 9.15 crores on its first Friday. The movie is having a huge jump of over 60% today/first Saturday as the collection is likely to be around 15.50-16.50 crores net in all versions.
The first Saturday collection of MI7 will take the total collection to around 46 crores net in 4 days, and now, the 5-day weekend is looking to be around 61-64 crores which is a fantastic result. It is now set to beat MI6 by the end of the first week to become the biggest film in the franchise as well as Tom Cruise-starrer in India.
The original English version is leading the overall collection of MI7, including the English IMAX 2D format which is having the best day so far with an average occupancy of 77% in 105 shows today. The English version is alone expected to score 10+ crores net today.
"MI7" will most likely become the first Tom Cruise-led movie to hit 100 crores net collection in India and it should be able to do it in the second weekend itself. It is set to emerge as a huge hit at the Indian box office.
