Box Office: 'Munjya' Crosses 100 Crore At The Worldwide Box Office

Mumbai, June 24 - Maddock Films' Munjya has topped 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office, becoming the 7th Bollywood film of 2024 to achieve the feat. The horror-comedy entered the 100 crores gross club on its 17th day.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya has approximately 98.35 crores gross (83.30 crores net) in India and an estimated 4.25 crores overseas for 102.60 crores worldwide gross through the third Sunday. It is the second movie in Maddock Films' horror-comedy universe to reach the 100 crores mark after Stree (182 crores).



Starring Abhay Verma, and Sharvari Wagh, Munjya is in the race to top 100 crores net collection. It is expected to reach around 90 crores mark by the end of the second week and then, the race to the century mark will begin thereafter. It will be a major competition next week in the form of Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD which releases on June 27.

Munjya is the 4th film in the horror-comedy universe of producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films after Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. In the movie, a young man's visit to his native village unveils a family secret and a vengeful spirit, the Munjya, who wants to get married. Now the young man must fight to protect himself and his love from Munjya's clutches.
