Box Office: Munjya Second Day/First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, June 8 - Maddock Films' production, Munjya is proving all the projections wrong with excellent trends at the box office. The movie opened above expectations on the opening day with approximately 4 crores net and is showing over 60% jump on the second day.

It was anticipated that the growth on the second would be there but it wouldn't be big due to the lower ticket prices. However, the movie proved all calculations wrong to score an estimated 6.50-7 crores net collection on the first Saturday.



The total collection of the film is around 10.50+ crores net in two days as the opening weekend is looking to be around 18-20 crores net which is way above the pre-release projections. It will be interesting to see if the movie could touch 20 crores net this weekend as there is the cricket world Cup match of India against Pakistan which may impact the night shows.

The hold on Monday will be crucial for the film though it is in a fantastic position to score well beyond the weekend as it has found acceptance among its target audiences. As of today, the movie is looking to finish over 50 crores net lifetime which will be a fantastic result.
