Box Office: OMG 2 First Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, August 14 - Director Amit Rai's social comedy-drama "OMG 2" starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam has a very good first Monday at the domestic box office, which eventually topped the opening day collection.

The movie scored a jump of around 13% from Friday for an estimated around 11.50-12 crores net. This takes the total collection of the movie to over 55 crores in 4 days. "OMG 2" will most likely have its biggest tomorrow, which is a national holiday in the form of Independence Day.



On Independence Day, "OMG 2" could come close to 20 crores in net which will take its total 5-day collection to around 75 crores net which is a fantastic result. The movie is certain to emerge a clean hit and it will top 100 crores net in the second weekend.

"OMG 2" has turned out to be a true success as it withstands the phenomena like "Gadar 2" which is simply running riot at the box office. The excellent word of mouth has made sure "OMG 2" not only remains in the race but also makes performs very well at the box office.
