Box Office: 'Pushap - The Rise' Crosses Rs. 150 Crores Worldwide Gross

Hyderabad, December 20 - Allu Arjun's action thriller, "Pushpa - The Rise" has totally justified the unprecedented hype as it crossed Rs. 150 crores mark at the worldwide box office in just 3 days.

On Sunday (December 19), the Sukumar-directed grossed Rs. 40.20 crores at the Indian box office, adding to the 3-day opening weekend total of 129.40 crores. Overseas, the movie has grossed an estimated 20.60 crores so far, helping the global total of Rs 150 crores.



The 3-day AP/TG share a total of "Pushpa - The Rise" also crossed Rs. 50 crores mark (Rs. 52.89 cr.), including Nizam leading the chart with Rs. 25.94 crores, followed by Ceded with Rs. 8.75 crores. Among the overseas markets, the US is contributing a large share as the gross collection has crossed $1.5 million over there.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and Muttamsetty Media, "Pushpa" is a two-part release. The ending the "Pushpa - The Rise" has shaped the story for part two, which is titled "Pushpa - The Rule". The makers recently confirmed that the shooting for the next part would be resumed from February/March 2022 and would be released around the same time period next year.

Based on the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, the movie stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead alongside Fahadh Faasil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, among others in key roles. The story of the second part will mainly focus on the face-off between Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun), and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS (Fahadh Faasil).
