Box Office: 'Pushpa 2' First Sunday/Fourth Day Early Estimates

Mumbai, December 8 - This might be the biggest moment for the Hindi box office as Pushpa 2 - The Rule is threatening to pull off an imaginable record which might be a reality by tomorrow morning when the actual collection arrives.

After scoring 70+ crores net day twice in the first three days, Pushpa 2 goes a step ahead to touch 80 crores net mark which is the first time in the history of Hindi cinema. According to early estimates, Pushpa 2 is expected to score in the range of 83-85 crores net on its first Sunday/fourth day, pushing the total Hindi collection to 280+ crores net in 4 days.



If estimates hold, which is the high end, it will be a history that Hindi box office touches 100 crores gross mark for the first time in a single day. However, as said, the estimates are on the high end and it needs to be seen how strong offline shows have performed on the day which will be known by tomorrow morning.

Pushpa 2 has also shown a good jump in Telugu states as estimates suggest 37-38 crores gross, followed by 13-14 crores gross in Karnataka, and around 15 crores gross in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Overall, the film is expected to gross in the range of 160-170 crores on Sunday in all versions which is exceptional.

The total collection of Pushpa 2 is 620+ crores gross at the domestic box office after its 4-day opening weekend and this is an all-time record in India. The worldwide collection is close to 800 crores gross which is again a record opening weekend for an Indian film.

Pushpa 2 is expected to perform well during the weekdays, especially in Hindi as advances for Monday are good and one of the biggest of 2024.
