Box Office: 'Sanam Teri Kasam' And 'Interstellar' Day 6 Collection
Mumbai, February 13 - There is no stopping Sanam Teri Kasam which is re-writing records for an Indian film re-release at the domestic box office. It has beaten all but Tumbbad to become the second-biggest Indian re-release grosser domestically.
Starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, the heartbreaking romantic tale had a superb 6th day, earning approximately 2.50-2.60 crores net, pushing the total net collection to around 24.25+ crores (28.50+ crores gross) through Wednesday. It is looking to score around 27 crores net in the first week.
Sanam Teri Kasam has become India's second biggest re-release grosser after last year's blockbuster Tumbbad which minted approximately 32 crores net collection. It has beaten Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli (26+ crores gross) and Ranbir Kapoor's superhit Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (25.50+ crores gross) and is now on course to become the biggest re-release grosser.
Christopher Nolan's Interstellar too is putting up an excellent show upon its re-rerelease in the country and scored another approximately 2.50 crores gross on its 6th day. With this, the epic sci-fi adventure has topped 18+ crores gross, becoming the biggest Hollywood re-release grosser in India.
