Box Office: 'Thandel' and 'Badass Ravikumar' Opening Day Early Estimates

Hyderabad, February 7 - Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's romantic action thriller Thandel has taken a fantastic start at the domestic box office, justifying the pre-release hype for the movie, directed by Chandoo Mondeti.

The film is looking to score the career-best opening for Naga Chaitanya as early estimates suggest the collection to be in the range of 11-12 crores gross. The previous biggest grosser for the actor was Love Story which minted around 10.50 crores gross on its first day.



The initial word of mouth for Thandel looks on the positive side and the pre-sales for the remaining weekend are good. It is looking to score 30+ crores gross collection in its opening weekend which will be a good collection.

There was Himesh Reshmiya's comedy action drama which opened to better-than-expected numbers as early estimates suggest 2.50-3 crores net opening day. The movie gained the attention of moviegoers with its funky promos which provided it a decent start at the box office.
