Box Office: 'Tumbbad' Re-Release Second Monday (11th Day) Collection
Mumbai, September 24 - Producer Sohum Shah's horror thriller Tumbbad emerged as a big success in its re-release run at the box office. The movie continues to throw a surprise despite the competition from other movies.
Tumbbad re-release had a fantastic second-weekend collection of approximately 7.60 crores net which was bigger than the first weekend (7.25 crores net). On its second Monday, the folk thriller remained around 1 crore net collection, pushing its total re-release collection to around 21.75 crore net in 11 days.
The movie is on the verge of becoming the biggest re-release grosser at the Indian box office by crossing Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli. These two are the only movies to cross 20 crore gross collection in the repeat runs, surpassing all expectations at the box office.
Meanwhile, the total collection of Tumbbad including the original run is around 35 crores net (41.50 crores gross) and it is heading towards finishing around 50 crores gross collection which is a massive achievement for the movie that was flopped in its original run.
The Tumbbad (re-release) collection is as follows -
1st week - 13.15 crores net approx.
8th day - 2.75 crores net approx.
9th day - 2.35 crores net approx.
10th day - 2.50 crores net approx.
11th day - 1 crore net approx.
