Brahmastra Part One: Shiva Gives A New Ray of Hope To The Hindi Film Industry

Mumbai, September 17 - Brahmastra is running riots at the box office. The movie is expected to do a solid business of more than 210 crores in the Hindi Market.

As we all are aware Hindi film industry is going through a rough phase post-pandemic. There is a famine of hits. In 2022, only 3 Bollywood movies were able to do good business and these include - The Kashmir Files, Bhool Bhulaiyya 2, and Gangubai Kathiawadi.



The aforementioned 3 movies, however, struggled to register big numbers on their opening day. Bollywood was struggling for a 15 crore + opener for the last few years, the Last 15 crore + opener and the only one post-pandemic was Sooryavanshi. Under these circumstances what Brahmastra achieved gives rise to a new ray of hope in the industry, securing an opening of more than 30 crores which was last seen back in 2019 by War.

The solid initials secured by Brahmastra have successfully managed to secure put an end to claims that online boycott campaigns have impacted the theatrical business of movies. Also, the claim claiming that people have now shifted to watching movies in OTT rather than on big screens has been proved wrong.

The fact that is now clear through Brahmastra is that if a movie is good and manages to create Curiosity and offers big-screen entertainment then it is bound to register huge initial and lifetime figures at the Box office.
