'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva' Opening Day Box Office Prediction
Mumbai, September 8 - The game is about to begin and the moment industry has been waiting for for a long time is finally around the corner as arguably the biggest Bollywood film of all time, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is releasing tomorrow in theaters worldwide.
With so much at stake, the makers of this fantasy adventure have left no stone unturned to promote the film and make it reach each and every person in the country which seems to be paying off. The entire industry was having some nervy moments earlier, which might have settled down a bit looking at the excellent response in the advance sales, which is the biggest for a Bollywood movie post-pandemic.
There were many doubts regarding the opening of the film at the box office as it has been the latest Bollywood movie being targeted by the boycott gang. However, it seems the boycott calls for the movie has gone for the toss as it is eying the biggest opening post-pandemic.
Looking at the advance booking trend, "Brahmastra" is set for a minimum of 30 crores start and this number, in all probability, could go further if the talks are positive. Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi scored 26.29 crores on the first day, which is the highest so far for Bollywood films since the resumption of cinemas post-pandemic.
Brahmastra is on the line and bracing for the final kill to surpass Sooryavanshi's opening day figures to become the biggest Bollywood opener since Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War in 2019.
The advance booking of Brahmastra is strong throughout the first weekend, and this ensures an excellent opening weekend for the movie at the box office. If the talks are positive, then Brahmastra could become one of the biggest Indian grosser of the year. It will release over 8000 screens worldwide, including 3000 screens in the international markets, to be released by Disney.
Produced by Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus in association with Star Studios, the movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in prominent roles. It is scheduled to release on September 9 in Hindi along with dubbed versions of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on 2D, 3D, and IMAX screens.
