Bray Wyatt Hall of Fame Induction Delayed, Documentary To Premiere On Peacock
Fans eager to see Bray Wyatt inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame will have to wait a little longer. While Wyatt was a popular choice for the 2024 class following his tragic passing in 2023, WWE has reportedly opted to delay his induction.
This decision comes alongside the announcement of a new documentary chronicling the life of Windham Rotunda, the man behind the Bray Wyatt persona. The documentary is set to premiere on Peacock on April 1st.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE's decision to focus on the documentary this year is a factor in delaying Wyatt's Hall of Fame induction. Meltzer suggests Wyatt's induction will likely come at a later date.
This year's Hall of Fame ceremony will still honor Wyatt's legacy, however. His father, Mike Rotunda, will be inducted alongside Barry Windham as part of their tag team, The US Express.
The 2024 Hall of Fame class also includes industry veteran Paul Heyman, Japanese wrestling legend Bull Nakano, pioneering African-American wrestler Thunderbolt Patterson, and the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali.
