Mumbai, February 26 – The historical action drama Chhaava has created history at the box office by becoming the highest-grossing film in its genre. The movie has surpassed the 2018 blockbuster Padmaavat, which had collected around 302 crore net in India. With its remarkable performance, Chhaava has set a new benchmark for historical period dramas.

The film has been performing exceptionally well, earning approximately 363 crore net in 12 days. Even on weekdays, Chhaava attracts audiences, maintaining a stronghold at the box office. Given this momentum, trade predicts that Chhaava may go past the 500 crore net milestone, making it one of the biggest successes in Indian cinema.
