'Doctor Strange' Writer Heaps Praise on SS Rajamouli's Epic Blockbuster 'RRR'
Hyderabad, June 7 - Blockbuster director SS Rajamouli had promised that he would bring back the lost glory of Indian cinema with his period action drama film "RRR". The movie has completed more than two months of "RRR" in theaters, and no one will deny what Rajamouli had said before the release of the movie.
Some of the Indian movies have really worked wonders at the overseas box office, but the reach of "RRR" internationally is on another level. Those who are on social media would know how well "RRR" has been received by the international audience, especially by Americans. Over the last 2 and a half months, we have seen many Americans lauding the movie and calling it a once-in-a-lifetime cinematic experience. Now, the "Doctor Strange" writer has joined the list of admirers of "RRR".
C. Robert Cargill, who co-wrote Marvel Studios' "Doctor Strange" (2016), took to Twitter and heaped praise on the movie, calling it "the craziest, most sincere, weirdest blockbuster I've ever seen" and promised to watch it again.
"Friends came over last night to initiate me into the cult of RRR (RISE ROAR REVOLT) and I'm here to report I am now fully, truly, deeply a member. This is the craziest, most sincere, weirdest blockbuster I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure Jess and I are watching it again this week", he wrote.

ICYMI, "RRR" had re-released in the USA for one night on June 1st in over 100 theaters, and after witnessing the unprecedented response from the audience, distributors have decided to run the movie in limited theaters as long as the audience is coming to watch it. It is reporting houseful shows despite being available on Netflix and ZEE5.
Produced by DVV Entertainment, "RRR" is a fictional story about two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr. NTR), and their fight against the British Raj. Set in 1920, the plot explores the undocumented period in their lives when both the revolutionaries chose to go into oblivion before they began the fight for their country.
The movie stars Jr. NTR., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, Shriya Saran, and Samuthirakani, among others in key roles. "RRR" has grossed over 1120 crores worldwide and is currently the 4th highest-grossing Indian movie worldwide of all time.
