Early Estimates: Veera Simha Reddy Jets Off To Flying Start
Hyderabad, January 12 - Veteran Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest blockbuster Veera Simha Reddy has jetted off to a flying start at the domestic box office, shattering all the previous records held by the actor.
The movie had the biggest-ever release for NBK, releasing in over 950 theaters across the country and it takes the best possible advantage, added by the Sankranthi holidays. As per the early estimates, the action drama film has grossed an estimated 35+ crores domestically, one of the biggest ever openings for 1970s actors in Indian cinema.
"Veera Simha Reddy" comfortably beats the previous record for NBK's film held by "Akhanda" which grossed approx. 25 crores in 2021. The share collection of "Veera Simha Reddy" is approx. 20+ crores (final numbers may vary).
The advance booking had indicated the huge start of the film and despite the mixed word of mouth, the movie witnessed Housefull boards outside theaters throughout the day. The final official opening day collection will be known tomorrow but going by the estimates, the opening is massive and proved that the craze for veteran stars is still relatable among the young generations.
Stay tuned...
