John Laurinaitis, a former executive with WWE, has acknowledged a lawsuit filed against him by Janel Grant. The lawsuit, filed in January 2024, alleges sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault by Laurinaitis and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

Grant's lawsuit details disturbing experiences of sexual, physical, mental, and emotional abuse. According to PWInsider, Laurinaitis has waived formal service of the lawsuit and intends to respond within 60 days of March 15th. An attorney representing Laurinaitis has denied the allegations, claiming his client is also a victim.

This development comes after Laurinaitis' termination from WWE in the summer of 2022. He was investigated by the company's board following sexual misconduct and hush money accusations against McMahon in June 2022.

The lawsuit against Laurinaitis and McMahon is ongoing. This story will be updated as further developments occur.
