Injury Update On Adam Page Following His AEW World Title Match

As previously mentioned, the John Moxley vs Adam Page world title match from the October 18, 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite was put on hold early due to Page's injury.

In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that Page suffered a concussion, but that's not 100% confirmed. Page was checked out backstage by medical staff.



“One source believes he may have suffered a concussion, but we don’t have that 100% confirmed. Page was checked out backstage by medical staff. We are told Page later left the venue to get examined at a local hospital.”

The match was called off early after Page hit Lariat and it appeared he was knocked out. After Doc Sampson checked in on Page, the match was called off and Moxley retained his title.

A stretcher was brought out and the bottom rope was loosened for Page to seek medical help. None of these were shown on camera. After things got cleared.
