Ja Morant Takes The Rock's SmackDown Jab In Stride With Hilarious Meme

Ja Morant proved he can handle a verbal takedown just as well as he can handle a defender on the court. During Friday Night SmackDown, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took a playful jab at the Memphis Grizzlies point guard referencing his recent gun controversy.

The Rock, known for his charismatic mic skills, didn't shy away from some friendly fire directed at Morant during a musical segment. "You're simply an embarrassment, son. Just like Ja Morant when he's waving a gun. I love you, Ja!" he sang to the Memphis crowd.



This wasn't the first time Morant found himself in hot water for his social media activity. The NBA had previously suspended him for both the gun incident and another situation earlier in the season.

However, Morant wasn't fazed by The Rock's playful diss. The injured Grizzlies star, currently recovering from shoulder surgery, took to social media with a hilarious response. He posted a popular meme featuring rapper 50 Cent, captioned with a simple "what he say 'f*** me' for?" referencing a past feud between 50 Cent and boxer Floyd Mayweather.

While Morant might be sidelined for the rest of the season, The Rock is gearing up for a major WrestleMania showdown. He'll be teaming up with Roman Reigns to take on the challenge of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a highly anticipated tag team match.
