Johnny Knoxville Officially Confirmed To Participate Into 2022 Men's Royal Rumble Match

Johnny Knoxville is officially entering the 2022 Men's Royal Rumble Match.

However, On January 1, 2022 at the WWE Day 1 Event, Johnny Knoxville announced he will be in the 30-man Royal Rumble Match at the Royal Rumble event.



He was at tonight's taping on SmackDown and tossed Sami Zayn out of the ring after he lost to Rick Boogs. The announcer made the proclamation stating that Knoxville is in the 2022 Royal Rumble match. This will mark his professional wrestling in-ring debut.

In 2007, Knoxville was slated to face Umaga at SummerSlam with the entire cast but was called off following the Chris Benoit murders and suicide that occurred in June. The following year on the October 13, 2008 edition of Raw, Knoxville made his WWE television debut feuding with The Great Khali.

WWE Royal Rumble is scheduled to take place on January 29, 2022, at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
