Kurt Angle Says His Three Minute Match With AJ Styles Was So Embarrassing

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has seen a lot of success as a pro wrestler throughout his career. His excellent in-ring skills and solid character work helped him rise to the top very quickly.

Olympic Hero competes against the best of the best in the world of pro wrestling. It also featured AJ Styles, with whom he competed several times in TNA and one match in WWE.

Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle talked about his match against AJ Styles. Angle admitted that he was really disappointed with the match.

“The thing was, I requested this match to Vince McMahon. I had the Kurt Angle farewell tour and they allowed me to request certain matches, and I requested AJ Styles and Samoa Joe over any other WWE wrestler and I made sure I got those two."

"AJ and I went out there, it was three minutes and we kicked a** for three minutes. But what’re you going to do? There was no finish and it just kind of sucked. Unfortunately for AJ and I, it wasn’t the finish that we wanted.

"Not the way I wanted to end my career, and Randy Orton did not get up for me on the Angle Slam. This match was so embarrassing, it showed no traces of the real me. It was like the old beat-up Kurt Angle with the quad injury, no finish, it was just horrible.”

Former WWE Champion Confirms He Will Have Neck Surgery In Early 2024 To Have Artificial Discs Placed In Neck

BY SACNILK

New York, 26 November - During the latest episode of The Kurt Angle Show podcast, Kurt Angle announced his plans for neck surgery which is scheduled for early 2024. ## The surgery involves the placement of artificial disc replacements in his neck and is aimed at improving his motor skills and overall quality of life. This decision comes after he previously expressed his desire to have the surgery in the early months of 2024. ## "Just so you know, I'm having neck surgery [at the] beginning of next year. They're going to put in artificial disc replacements and it's going to help [his hands]. I can't really grab things and things always slip out of my hands and fall. I have horrible motor skills," he said. ## "My arms, they actually atrophied three inches each, and I don't have any muscle [between his thumb and finger], this is completely flat. They're supposed to be muscle in there but it deteriorated. Atrophied. So when I get these rubber discs or disc replacements, they're going to open up the nerves so they can go down my arm so I can have better circulation." ## According to Kurt Angle, the recovery time for his upcoming surgery is expected to be two weeks. Although a specific date for the procedure has not been announced, Fightful is dedicated to providing readers with regular updates on Kurt Angle's condition as more information becomes available. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Kurt Angle Opens Up About WWE Producer Departure: Anticipated Release And Lack Of Passion

BY SACNILK

New York, 16 October - Kurt Angle, a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, concluded his in-ring career at WrestleMania 35 with a loss to Baron Corbin. Following this, Angle transitioned into a backstage role as a producer within WWE. ## During his tenure as a producer, Angle occasionally made sporadic appearances on WWE television. However, his departure from the company occurred shortly thereafter. On April 15, 2020, Angle was released from his WWE contract as part of cost-saving measures due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. ## Despite his release from WWE, Angle has not refrained from making appearances on WWE television. His most recent appearance was on Raw is XXX, which took place on January 23, 2023. During this event, he participated in a segment with D-Generation X, which included Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, and X-Pac. ## In a recent episode of his own podcast, "The Kurt Angle Show," Angle reflected on his role as a WWE producer and discussed how it all came to an end. ## "Yes, [Mark Carano] called me. 'Hey, we're going to let you go.' Actually, I wasn't that into my job. I was a producer. I was killing time. I knew that if they were going to do cuts, I would be the first one let go because they were paying me a lot of money, more money than other producers. I knew that if they were going to do cuts and they were going to let go of someone, I'd be the first. I didn't put much into it, I really didn't. I should have been a lot more passionate about it," said Angle. ## Undoubtedly, Kurt Angle's legacy as a top WWE star during his in-ring career is firmly established. Throughout his tenure with WWE, Angle accomplished an impressive array of championship victories. His championship accolades include the WCW Championship (1 time), WCW United States Championship (1 time), World Heavyweight Championship (1 time), WWF/WWE Championship (4 times), WWE Tag Team Championship (1 time, where he and Chris Benoit were the inaugural champions), WWF European Championship (1 time), WWF Hardcore Championship (1 time), and WWF Intercontinental Championship (1 time). ## Notably, Angle also became the Fifth Grand Slam Champion, earned the title of King of the Ring in 2000, became the 10th Triple Crown Champion, and emerged as the victor of the WWE Tag Team Championship Tournament in 2002, all while teaming up with Chris Benoit. His exceptional career in WWE showcased his unmatched wrestling prowess and contribution to the company's history. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

From The Squared Circle To The Silver Screen: Kurt Angle Envisions Roman Reigns' Hollywood Destiny

BY SACNILK

In a recent episode of "The Kurt Angle Show," the legendary Hall of Famer engaged in a discussion about the remarkable reign of Roman Reigns as the Unquestioned WWE Universal Champion. ## With Reigns approaching an impressive three-year tenure as the Universal Champion and already surpassing a year as the WWE Champion, Angle boldly speculated that "The Tribal Chief" could potentially hold onto these prestigious titles for another year, or in jest, even an astonishing decade. While the exact moment of Reigns' eventual dethronement remains uncertain, Angle has an intriguing vision for the acclaimed wrestler beyond the confines of the WWE ring. ## According to Angle, "Roman Reigns will not be confined to the company within the next five years. This extraordinary individual is destined to become a colossal sensation in the realm of cinema." He continued, asserting that Reigns possesses an awe-inspiring physical presence, remarkable talent, and astute intellect, thereby forecasting his seamless transition into the realm of movie stardom. ## Despite his current filmography being relatively modest, Reigns has already dipped his toes into the world of the silver screen. In 2020, he showcased his versatility by starring in the romantic comedy "The Wrong Missy," and the subsequent year saw him lend his voice to the character of Ramarilla Jackson in the animated sports comedy "Rumble." However, his most significant role to date emerged in "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw," where he portrayed the character of Mateo Hobbs, the brother of Luke Hobbs, portrayed by Reigns' real-life cousin, the iconic Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. It remains to be seen whether Reigns will follow in the footsteps of his esteemed cousin, who has firmly established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the realm of Hollywood. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.
