Longtime WWE Executive John Porco Departs After 25 Years

After 25 years with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), John Porco has parted ways with the company, per PWInsider.com. Porco began his journey with WWE in 1999 as a Public Relations Coordinator before moving to the live events department in 2002.

Throughout his tenure, Porco rose through the ranks, eventually becoming Director of Marketing, a position he held for 20 years until 2022. His understanding of marketing dynamics played a key role in enhancing WWE's global visibility and popularity.



In 2022, Porco was promoted to Executive Vice President of Live Events, where he oversaw the planning and execution of WWE's live shows, ensuring memorable experiences for fans worldwide.

Porco's departure last month has left many in the WWE community surprised, with details about his exit still unclear. Justin Scalise, previously Senior Vice President of Live Event Marketing, has stepped into Porco's role.
