MJF Names MLW A Great Breeding Ground For Upcoming Talent

Current AEW lead star MJF has named Major League Wrestling a great breeding ground up and coming talent. Concerning Maxwell Jacob Friedman, also known as MJF, has to be assumed the most significant homegrown star in All Elite Wrestling since the start of the promotion.

Nevertheless, numerous fans are clueless that the 26-year-old acquired his onset in the business on the liberated stage and in MLW where he was a featured star.



While speaking with Ariel Helwani in his current interview, he consulted his time with MLW and called it a great breeding ground for talent.

He said:

"Bruce Prichard, I spoke to multiple times in MLW. We met in MLW, we have stayed in contact ever since. Bruce is a great guy. Bruce, I loooove you. Great guy, Brother Love. It’s a business, at the end of the day, but you make friends along the way. Jim Cornette was there in MLW. I learned a lot from him in that short stint when I got to talk to him.



Konnan was over there, I learned a lot. Not enough people talk about MLW. I feel, it’s honestly, a great breeding ground for young up-and-coming talent. At the time, when I was there, there were so many people coming in and out. Yes, they were coming in and out fairly quickly, but if you’re a student of the game like I was, you chewed their ear off and you made sure you learn something." In fact MJF quit MLW for committing to All Elite Wrestling full-time after signing a short-term deal in 2019.

Bruce Pritchard carried on from Major League Wrestling and is currently Executive Director of WWE Raw and SmackDown. Friedman has noted Pritchard on more than one occasion to tease his conceivable jump to WWE in January 2024.
