McKenzie Mitchell Announces She Has Been Released By WWE

Stamford, December 1 - McKenzie Mitchell announces she has been released by WWE.

Taking to X, Mitchell dropped the following tweet;

"Today I was released by WWE. I met my husband, moved cross country from CT to FL for @wwenxt (a place I’ve always considered home), and met friends that became like family. I’ve always said and firmly believe in “when door closes, another opens.”

WWE has terminated the contracts of several individuals following their merger with UFC to establish TKO Group Holdings. The possibility of additional releases remains uncertain, as speculations about cuts have circulated. Today, McKenzie Mitchell was among those released.

Mitchell inked a deal with WWE in 2019 after dedicating several years to IMPACT Wrestling. During her tenure with the organization, Mitchell proved to be a significant asset to the company's digital brand.
