"Speedball" Mike Bailey won the Impact X-Division Championship at the Impact Slamiversary, gaining the belt in an Ultimate X Match that also featured Kenny King, Ace Austin, Alex Zahn, Trey Miguel and Andrew Everett, Jack Evans.
The finish saw Bailey kick Austin, who entered the bout as champion, off the cables, leaving him alone to get the title.
This is Bailey's first reign as Impact X-Division Champion. Austin won the title at Impact Rebellion. His reign lasted 58 days and included three successful title defenses as well as representing Impact as X Division champion in the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament.
