Nani's 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' Worldwide Theatrical Business Details

Hyderabad, August 28 - Natural star Nani's much-awaited action thriller Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is all set to hit the big screens on August 28. Directed by Vivek Athreya, the film managed to generate a good buzz, thanks to the teaser/trailer and other promotional activities.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is easily one of the most-anticipated tier 2 Telugu hero movies and this led to very good worldwide theatrical business for the film. According to the report by T2BLive, the movie managed to score the second highest business for a Nani-starrer after hit Dasara.



In Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), Saripodhaa Sanivaaram's theatrical business is approximately 30 crores, including 12.50 crores for the Nizam area and 5 crores for Ceeded while Andhra region business is around 12.50 crores.

Apart from AP/TG, the movie's rest of India business has been valued at approximately 5 crores while overseas theatrical rights are at 6 crores, making it a 41 crores worldwide business of the movie with a break-even target of 42 crores. It will need to score around 70 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office to emerge as a box office hit.

As said, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has a good buzz and with a positive reception, it can easily break even its target. Nani's last film, Hi Nanna which was a romantic drama, grossed over 75 crores worldwide and was superhit at the box office. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, a mass entertainer with wide appeal, can emerge as a big success with positive WOM.

Produced by DVV Entertainment, the movie is scheduled to be released on August 29 in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil languages.
