New North American Champion Crowned At WWE NXT 10/12/21

Carmelo Hayes is the new North American champion.

Carmelo Hayes defeated Isaiah "Swerve" Scott to win the WWE NXT North American Championship.



On the October 12th episode of NXT, Scott successfully defended the NXT North American championship against Santos Escobar.

After the match Hayes cashed in his guaranteed title shot that he earned by virtue of winning the 2020 NXT Breakout Tournament.

As noted, Scott is slated to start full-time with Smackdown shortly.
