Prithviraj Sukumaran's 'Aadujeevitahm: The Goat Life' Hits 150 Crore Worldwide Gross
Kochi, April 21 - Prithviraj Sukumaran's survival thriller Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life is climbing to new heights at the worldwide box office despite slowing down with each passing day.
After becoming the third highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time, beating Pulimurugan, Aadujeevitham has now become only the third Mollywood title ever to reach the 150 crores mark at the global box office.
Directed by Blessy, the film grossed over 151+ crores worldwide in 25 days and crossed the 150 crores gross mark. So far, only Manjummel Boys and 2018 have reached this milestone with a worldwide gross total of 235+ crores and 180 crores, respectively.
It is an adaptation of the 2008 best-selling Malayalam novel Aadujeevitham by Benyamin, which is based on the real-life story of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant labourer, one among thousands of Indians who were forced into slavery in Saudi Arabia as goatherds on secluded farms in the deserts by the native Arabs.
