Pushpa 2 Vs Jawan Day Wise Hindi Box Office Comparison

Mumbai, December 8 - The opening weekend record of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller Jawan has been dismantled by superstar Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule by a good margin. Both the movies had a Thursday release, getting the advantage of having an extended weekend.

From the record-breaking opening, Pushpa 2 trended well above Jawan in the opening weekend. With good pre-sales for the weekdays, it will certainly continue to perform well beyond just the opening weekend. Pushpa 2, however, aims to dethrone Jawan and Stree 2 to become the biggest Hindi grosser ever in India.

Jawan had minted approximately 252 crores net in its 4-day extended weekend and 186.58 crores net in Friday to Sunday weekend. Pushpa 2, on the other hand, has scored much more in its extended weekend and 200+ crores net in Friday to Sunday weekend which, on both fronts, is a record in Hindi.
