Pushpa 2 Vs Stree 2 Day Wise Hindi Box Office Comparison

Mumbai, December 7 - After the historic success of Baahubali 2, another Telugu film threatening to claim the box office crown in Hindi as Allu Arjun's highly-anticipated Pushpa 2 - The Rule has begun its journey to get the ultimate prize by potentially beating Bollywood mega-blockbusters.

The Sukumar's directorial movie opened to groundbreaking numbers with approximately 70 crores net in Hindi, which is the biggest opening ever. Pushpa 2 is trended well ahead of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan in the extended opening weekend and easily scored the biggest first weekend in Hindi.



With an open run for at least two weeks, and backed by positive word of mouth, the trade is betting big on Pushpa 2 to become the biggest grosser in Hindi by beating Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-fronted Stree 2 which scored approximately 598 crores net.

Both Pushpa 2 and Stree 2 had a Thursday release and as can be seen in the table, it took only 2 days for the former to go past the 100 crores net mark and has the best first 2 days aggregate total in Hindi while Stree 2 topped 100 crores net mark on its third day.

After the Independence Day opening weekend, Stree 2 continued to benefit from the holidays to post nearly 300 crores net in the first week. Though Pushpa 2 doesn't have that luxury, it will still score much more than 300 crores net first week and will eventually look to down Stree 2 in the long run.
