Ram Charan's 'Game Changer' New Release Date Locked
Hyderabad, October 12 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan's political action thriller Game Changer has been pushed back to Sankranthi 2025. The film is directed by S. Shankar and stars Kiara Advani as the female lead.
Game Changer, which commenced filming in October 2021, has been postponed multiple times due to the delay in the shoot. Recently, producer Dil Raju announced at the event that they were eyeing a Christmas 2024 release for the movie but plans have changed again.
On Saturday (October 12), the makers officially confirmed that Game Changer will now be released on January 10, 2025, during the Sankranthi festival week. The USA premiere will take place on January 9. The postponement of Game Changer to Sankranthi 2025 came after megastar Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara decided to shift the release to summer 2025.
Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Game Changer marks the maiden collaboration between Ram Charan and director Shankar. In the movie, the actor plays the role of an IAS officer, who strives to combat corrupt politicians by advocating for fair elections to transform the working ways of the government.
