SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' Heads For Pay-Per-View On Zee Plex
Hyderabad, May 7 - SS Rajamouli's "RRR" has had a historic run at the box office, grossing over 1100 crores worldwide. The movie, starring Jr. NTR/Ram Charan in the lead, was promised to bring back the glory of Indian cinema and it has fulfilled that by becoming a rage among the domestic as well as overseas audiences.
Produced by DVV Entertainment, "RRR" has completed six weeks in theaters as its run is coming to an end. It will be available on OTT platforms after 10 weeks of its theatrical release. The South Indian versions are acquired by Zee Studios while the Hindi version will be available on Netflix.
Meanwhile, the South languages versions of "RRR" are gearing to stream on Zee Plex via pay-per-view before it is made available free for all the subscribers on ZEE5. As per reports, the period action drama movie is heading for the PPV model on Zee Plex from May 20th. There is no information regarding the Hindi version.
"RRR" is one of the costliest films ever made in Indian cinema. Set in the 1920s, "RRR" is a fictional story about two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), and their fight against the British Raj. It also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris in key roles.
