Samoa Joe Becomes The New ROH Television Champion On (4/13/22) AEW Dynamite
Samoa Joe has become the new ROH Television champion!
The submission machine defeated Japanese legend Minoru Suzuki on this week's edition of AEW Dynamite from New Orleans. Joe performed the Muscle Buster to win the match and the championship.
Joe established himself in ROH from the promotion's beginning in 2002, holding the ROH World Championship for a record 21 months from March 2003 to December 2004.
Joe previously held the ROH Champion by defeating Xavier for the belt, which soon became the ROH World Championship on May 17, 2003, after defeating The Zebra Kid at "Frontiers of Honor" in London, England.
