Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' Ticket Rates Reduced To Celebrate Its Historic Success
Mumbai, February 16 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" is on the historic box office run and racing towards the 1000 crores mark globally. The spy actioner has grossed around 970 crores worldwide to date in all versions.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" has also become the first Bollywood movie ever to reach 500 crores net mark, and to celebrate this historical success, Yash Raj Films and National Cinema chains have decided to slash the ticket prices on Friday.
According to reports, top theater chains of India - PVR, Inox, Cinepolis, Miraj, Movietime, MuktaA2 & other participating cinemas have come together to celebrate this coming Friday (February 17) as 'Pathaan Day'. The ticket prices of Pathaan in these cinemas have been reduced to flat Rs.110 for a whole day on Friday.
"Pathaan" also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, among others in key roles. Salman Khan plays a cameo role as Tiger in the movie.
