Thalapathy Vijay's 'Ghilli' Re-Release Second Weekend Box Office Collection

Chennai, April 29 - Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli is turning the clock back with an impressive performance at the box office since its re-release on April 20. The sports action drama has easily been the number-one Tamil film since last week at the domestic and worldwide box office.

Ghilli scored 14.50+ crores gross collection in its first week (6 days) in India, and with not much competition, it was again one of the top-performing films in the second weekend with a gross collection of around 5.50 crores.



The total collection of Ghilli is around 20 crores gross in 9 days in India. It is currently the 4th highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 at the domestic box office, behind Ayalaan, Captain Miller, and Lal Salaam. By today or tomorrow, the film will cross Lal Salaam to become the third biggest Tamil grosser of the year.

At the worldwide box office, Ghilli has grossed approximately 26 crores and will be topping the 30 crores mark in the coming days. In its original run back in 2004, the movie was a blockbuster with a worldwide collection of over 40 crores and its re-release collection won't be that far away from the original which is sensational, to say the least.
