Thank God Second Day/First Wednesday Early Estimates
Mumbai, October 26 - Thank God which had an ordinary first-day collection of 8.10 crores net, has shown a drop on the second day of its release. The film had a slower start compared to the first day and throughout the day it remained behind.
The film had a very ordinary first-day collection so a drop from there is a shocking thing for the trade and industry in general. Thank God is another case where the content has gone wrong.
The second-day early estimates suggest approx. 6 crores net which is approx 25% than yesterday. The film is shown a similar drop to its opponent Ram Setu. Today's collections will take the first two days of collections of the film to a little over the 14 crores net mark depending on the final second-day collections.
The film stars Ajay Devgn who is one of the most popular stars and has a huge fanbase but from the trailer, the film appeared like an extended cameo role for him. Nonetheless, Thank God has performed poorly at the box office on the first two days and the hope is that it sustains on these levels and doesn't drop further.
Stay tuned...
